I used to have a RAZR and, when I took a job with really bad cell phone coverage, I bought an external antenna. There is a antenna jack under a plastic plug on the back. That worked for a while until it stopped working when NOT connected (at home). T-Mobile replaced it, and then I found out, by researching it on the internet, that this phone has a problem in that the internal antenna, switched off when external is plugged in, fails to switch back on. Permanently.

So, I traded in my RAZR for a 8320 curve. This so I could connect via wifi/uma. No need for cell coverage.

That being said, I noticed that there is the same antenna jack on the curve under the cover just above one of the gold charging connectors. No reason why that would not work. I believe it was called a 'Freedom Antenna' and you had your choice of plug in jacks.

But, unless you dont have wifi coverage too, why do it?

The stickers that "increase" your coverage are a waste of money.
