    Hi,

I'm sure that I am not the only person with this problem.
I have and Alpine IDA-X001 with the bluetooth KCE-300BT.
My blackberry curve is currently running software version 4.2.2.146.

I have managed to connect my BBY to the head unit and it works well as hands free and streaming media but no matter what I do I cannot get the address book transferred to the Alpine unit, this includes the call logs.

Has this happened to anyone else?
More importantly is there a workaround?

    Cheers
    Andy

I have exactly the same Alpine setup and problem, although I have the BB8830.

When I press the "phone" button on the Head unit, it shows "updating". The longest I have left it is 20 minutes. You would think that if there was a communication error it would eventually time out.

Tech support at Alpine indicated that I needed to allow OBX file transfer, but I cannot find any reference to this in the user manual or online.

The Bluetooth interface is working as I can receive calls (Caller ID # is displayed) and initiate calls by dialing on the BB. I would really like the address book and call history functions, so any help would be appreciated.
