Does anyone know of any way that i can get aim through wifi. is there any instant messaging service app for blackberries that i can get that works through wifi. because although it would be great, i just dont have the money for a data plan.
Nevermind someone answered but it doesn't make sense...
(I can't post the URL here because crackberry said I need at least 10 posts) but just scroll to the 3rd page and you'll see a thread about AIM and wi-fi not working
I used to have a Tmobile Curve that I bought off eBay in July brand new. I didn't have the BB internet plan at that time (had a Sidekick internet data plan) and I was able to go on wi-fi on the Curve and use AIM on it... so I know that AIM can work on wi-fi without a BB internet plan.... I just don't know how to bypass the "service not enabled for this handheld" message
