So when I try to log on to AIM it gives me an internal error
How do I fix this?

With the device powered on, pull the battery for about 5-10 seconds and try again

Have you tried completely uninstalling AIM, doing a battery pull, then reinstalling AIM? Might be worth a shot.

I think most people agree not to use AIM, but JiveTalk.

I'M having a similar prob. I installed the new AIM (2.3) and now when I try signing on it says "service not enabled for this handheld". Which is very weird considering yahoo messenger and gtalk work fine and the older version of AIM worked fine too. Any ideas? Email [email protected] Thx
