Hey all a lil help if you could

My address book keeps freezing whenever I add a contact .. it will save it but I have to battery pull to restart .. when I go back it saved the contact

If I'm adding a email addy it seems to save it but it takes a long time for the save to complete .. like 3 mins

any help?

I have about 340 contacts

I have the same problem. Over 40 memory free as well.

It also freezes when I delete a contact as well.

I had the same issue on my 8830 used to drive me crazy. It doesn't do it as much on my 8330. It would give me the uncaught exception error. I'm not sure what caused it but it was annoying.

This has been going on since day one, basically. I just got the Bold in June 2011, and hate it. Hate everything about it. I miss my Curve...it was much more stable. No one seems to have a solution for why the contacts app freezes when trying to edit something. Always have to do a battery pull, and it takes 3-5 minutes to start back up. Ridiculous. Considering what I pay for this thing monthly, it's not worth it.
