I'm running a Sprint Curve 8330, with the latest OS provided by sprint. I don't have any secret hacks on it. All legit apps running on it.

Unfornately, I don't know when the issue occurred... only that yesterday I went to Options > About... and couldn't open the 'About' menu

I rebooted, I battery-pulled, just will not open to show content.

I search CB and google. Couldn't seem to find anything like this.

You folks heard of this before?

    Thanks!

    Ian

My 8820 is doing the same thing and it started with my update to the latest OS for ATT. I have since upgraded to a "better" OS

The work around...for me at least, is to press <ALT>, <CAP>, H and it will show you pretty much all the IMEI, PIN and App versions you're running, but you don't get to scroll through all of the Java and other display screens that are typically following the RIM one.

Mine doesn't show up but I also deleted the voice activated dialing. Did you happen to do that recently?

When you delete the voice activated dialing the "about" menu will not open.
