    Hi all-

    i have a VZN 8330 for my personal phone, but i have a spare battery from my 8830 work phone...can i use this in my curve? curve battery is blue, 8830 is green...does anyone know if and what differences there are?

    I had bought a 8830 with a blue battery on ebay and it would not turn on, i found out here that the green battery will only work with the 8830!

    really? hmm. i hadnt tried it yet until i knew it wasnt going to be bad for the phone..ill stick it in and see if it turns on.

    It wasnt bad, my phone just wouldnt turn on, i got the battery with a red line through it!

    the newer phones will not work on different batteries. Previously you could use the batteries in different devices but it wont work anymore.
