i have had my blackberry curve 8330m v4.5.0.186 from cellular south for about 3 months. up until now it has been a great phone & has worked flawlessly. yesterday it started locking up for no apparent reason. for instance, when i end a call, the screen still shows me as connected & none of my buttons will work. the call has been disconnected but i can't get off this screen. i can pull my battery, wait 15 minutes, reinsert it & start the phone. all is good until it hangs up again. it can happen after a call, during a game, checking email, whatever. i have pulled my battery half a dozen times in the last 24 hours.
i am running some background apps, like phonetweak, batterybooster, memorybooster, but i have been running them for a couple of months with no problems.
any ideas? any help would be much appreciated. thanks.
Free memory? pull media card and see if freezing stops. Be sure you close apps with the menu key instead of just backing out of them.... how many apps are you running at once...
