    Why does it seem like the 8330m has way smaller amount of apps than the 8330. From what I read, there really isn't a plat form difference. I can't even get Shazam right now. I know it will all come around in a bit, but I just don't understand what the difference in a program for 8330 and 8330m. Either way, i'm way happier with the 8330m than with the 8830!

    From my understanding its multi language but I'm having the same problem with my phone I've been trying to download iheartradio to my phone and it says its not compatible... I wonder why? is there that much of a diff. From 8330 and the 8330m please help I have a friend who has the same curve and carrier I do and she's able to download it and I'm not cause I have a 8330m and she has a 8330

    It is a newer model 8330 with some differences from the legacy 8330.

    I don't know all of the tech specs, but although similar, they are technically different and use a separate version of the 4.5.131 OS that isn't compatible with the older model.

    The 8330m uses an MEID as opposed to the 8330 which uses an ESN. ESNs are near exhaustion due to the large amount of CDMA phones out there, so MEIDs were created to alleviate the problem.
