Ok, I wanted to get an 8330 but Tmo is the only company that I know of at the moment that has the feature that is most important to me - free texting to Canada - and so I'm sticking with them. But they don't have the 8330, they have the "T-Mobile Curve" which I THINK is the 8320. So my question is, what is the difference in features? I don't really mind the lack of GPS, don't plan on ever using it honestly.
The 8320 from TMOB has the Wi-FI feature. For an additional $9.99 a month you can have unlimited calls from any accessable Wi-Fi access point. You also get full access to the internet through any accessable Wi-Fi access point.
I use the Wi-Fi calling all the time and I love it!!!!
8330 = GPS, offered by CDMA carriers, running OS 4.3.
8320 = WiFi, offerered by T-Mobile, running OS 4.2. Though I hear that OS 4.5 could be out very shortly.
Ditto. After having the 8330 and the 8830 I would say don't even think of buying any Blackberry that has less than the 8330 RAM, which I think is 96MB and you get about 47MB free to install applications and use the phone. Anything less is criminal.
