I have my brightness set at 100, but how come it still looks dim, and sometimes. It gets really bright. Also how come my keypad doesn't stay lite all the time. I have a 8330 with 4.5os

You must be new. Well there is a indicator that tells when there is a change in light and well it adapts to that. Also that is what happens with the keyboard. It doesn't light up if there is enough light, I would think this is a battery saving thing Hope this helps a little.

yes I am new, is there any way to bypass the indicator, casue I am sitting in my living room, with one light on not bright at all, and the screen is still dim.

Yes, Options > Screen/Keyboard > Automatically Dim Backlight.

but there is no way to get rid of the keyboard light doing it. hope this helps.
