My wife just got an 8330. I was just wondering how you can set separate ringtones for email and sms/mms. My Storm has a Message Alert option in the BB Menu inside the Messages folder, but I don't see that on the Curve.

You should be able to have separate ringers for calls, email and sms right?

yeah, go to profiles>advanced>active and change it around in there

Yes, go to Profiles > Advanced > select the active profile, Press the Menu key, then select Edit. Go to each alert, press Menu, Edit and change each alert type both in holster and out of holster to the tones you want.

Yup through sound profiles you can customize just about anything lol.... just make sure to save your changes
