So my stupid antenna cover shifted when I was putting it back on and it ripped my antenna!

I still have coverage, but it goes out and comes back. Switches from 1X to 1x to 1xev etc...

and sometimes the bars go away all together!

Does anybody sell the 8330 midplate with an antenna on it?

I think the midplates sold are midplates that you have to transfer your old antenna to the new midplate.

If you are talking about the 'brains' of the phone, yes- I found one for 185. They were in Cedar Park, Tx. I can't remember their name, but PM me if you want me to try to search them down for you.

For $185, you should be able to get a whole used Curve.

I couldn't find a listing for the midplate w/antenna only, but maybe you can email them and ask.

I just contacted CNN.CN cause they sell midplates with the antennas attached for the 8320s. Hopefully they can do that!

also try Truesupplier - Blackberry Accessories & PDA Accessories wholesale Co.; They have midplates w/ the antenna's attached. Can't remember price, but it's like $13-15 before shipping. I did the same thing to my antenna, but haven't had any problems with it or my signal, despite it being detached from about 75% of the antenna!

mine tore also a bit when I popped off the cover for the first time. It looked like during assembly the antenna covered the edge of the hole for the clip so when I popped it off the antenna caught and tore a bit. I haven't had any issues with losing coverage thank god.......
