i got a used 8330 curve that the trackball didnot work on, i have removed the trackball and cleaned and even tried a new trackball and all it will do is the pushdown function i can not scroll in any direction. could the sensors be bad on the circut board and can they be tested or changed/ thanks or any other idead to try.
Unless you're an electronic repair expert, you're not gonna be able to effect any repairs. Sensors can go bad, and about the only things you can do is contact a repair center or replace the device. I've seen people over the last couple of years try to get the parts, and they just don't seem to be available on the open market.
