I recently updated from 4.5.0.97 to 4.5.0.131 and now my battery goes dead in a few hours. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

Check what apps you have opened. Press and hold ALT then hit the back key. Having too many apps open usually leads to fast battery drains.

Yep some apps close weird (like my Sprint apps) so make sure you close everything properly, not just using the Back key...they will keep on running & drain that battery down in no time (as my husband found out one day at work & missed an important call because his battery was dead after not properly shutting down the NFL app ).

I found the same thing w/ 131. Didn't realize how bad it was till I upgraded to .169. I found .169 was much better w/ the battery. Running 5.0.0.230/238 hybrid now. Battery life seems to be between .131 & .169.

I noticed the same problem this morning. I've had my phone for all of two full days (picked it up Friday). I started shutting things down, but I notice there are a few things I can't shut down like phone log, email, browser, etc. Is this normal?

I've got it in standby mode now trying to save power. I'm at work at my charger is at the house and the battery is getting pretty low.

.131 was an awful version. Upgrade to another version.
