I wanted to change the home buttons on my 8310 to the black 8330 buttons. I know they are slanted and all that but my question is can I get the 8330 lens and use the 8330 buttons? are there any dimensional differences? I know the led is in the lens but I wouldnt be switching my housing so I would retain the 8310 led. Can I install the 8330 lens and home buttons to my 8310 housing?

The Lens on the 8330 is different than the 8310, the led light hole on the 8330s are in the screen, not on top of the device like yours is now.

I know that. Im wondering if the sizes of the screens are different. because if they are the same then I should be able to put an 8330 lens on my 8310 housing and still keep my led.

No I think you have to get an 8330 housing because the buttons are a little different also.

Yes, they have different dimensions, the 8330 is a little wider.
