    Ok a few questions

1- What version of windows are you running?

2- What version of Desktop Manager Software are you running?

3- what os is currently on your BlackBerry?

4- what is the FILENAME of the os you downloaded and are attempting to install on your BlackBerry?

Maybe we can stand back and look at everything as a whole for a minute and see if there are any red flags.

I'm sorry I'm having a hard time making out what you wrote , does that say VISTA?

So are you trying to install the .18 or .52?

I am having the same issue. I have downloaded 4.6 and deleted the vendor file, and nothing. My bb still show 4.2 and no downloads. Please help. I also suppose that upgrading will help with my m.moodio.fm also, correct?

So you have downloaded 4.6 which is the Desktop Manager Software, but which device os have you downloaded and are trying to install?

Have BOTH of you ran a search of your pc hard drive for vendor.xml and delete any instances you find before plugging in your device to initiate the upgrade?

    i did a search.
    deleted all it could find.

    and im trying to install
    8320-v4.5.0.18
    its orange uk.

    does that matter?
i figured it vodafone in germany was ok for 8310,
orange uk would be ok for 8320.
i got it from bb site.

if thats an issue then where should i get the 8320 os 4.5 download?

You said you have 4.5.0.52 on a flash drive , that is the os I would recommend installing instead of 4.5.0.18.

I don't know the exact timeline but from what I could find the .18 you are trying to install is about 5 months old! I would not even bother installing .18 when .52 is readily available.

You sure the .18 you have is for the 8320 and NOT the 8310?

If your 98% sure about the .18 then that leaves 2 pretty good reasons not to use it and why its probably not working

If your are weary about the 4.5.0.52 that already have , then I would suggest deleting it and redowwnloading from the link I supplies. Better safe then sorry if you have concerns
