I bought 8320 of line so don't have box software nothing. I am planning to upgrade the operating system for it. The phone was on orange but i have my o2 sim on their. Can i use the allocated os that is given in the above sticky or do i need to go to o2 for help?

There is no issue using the software from an alternate carrier. The device OS software is packaged so each carrier can select the custom components they wish to install.

Upgrading from v4.2xx to v4.5xx is well worth the effort. There are many improvements in the later verison software.

.174 after a complete wipe and using BB master control is working well for me for over a week now. Only one battery pull and almost no hourglass moments.
