I am selling my curve 8310 tomorrow and i know the buyer is using it on tmobile. I unlocked my phone a few nights again and was just wondering if there was anything else they would need to do in order to get browser and email working.

The service books will be sent out by tmobile. I took an unlocked 8310 and signed up without a problem. Once I setup my bis, all was good.

Log in to your BIS site and remove the PIN from your email account, or the buyer might receive your emails.

Quoted from Jsanders:
On your BlackBerry, go to Options > Advanced Options > Sim Card.
At that screen type MEPD on your keyboard. A new menu will pop up.
Look for Network in the list.
If your device is "unlocked", it should say Disabled or Inactive. If it says Active, it's still locked to that carrier.
Sorry, I don't have enough posts to link yet
