Hello,

My friend brought me a 8310 and it has a solid white screen, no error codes , no hour glass icon, just a solid white screen, and it does not reboot. is the lcd bad? I do not know the history on this phone, and neither does he. I do not think its been wet because the water indicator under the battery has not changed colors. Any help is appreciated.

p.s.

I used jlcommander to wipe the device and loaded the most current os from at&t (.110) on it and it still does the same thing.

OK, I have answered my own question, the lcd is bad.

you can go to the crackberry store and find lcd's pretty cheap..good luck
