i recently went to iinstall the v4.5 OS and it resetting and freezing randomly.. ( every 5 minutes or so.. sometimes goes into a reset loop for 30 mins.straight.. ) ive tried reinstaling it and ive removed vendor.xml using crackmem .. for some reason i cant find my old copy of OS that did work to revert... its all messed up.. ive been trying to make this work for 4 hours now.. ps.. im on rogers canada

You may need to try wiping the device (Options>Security Options>General Settings>Menu>Wipe Handheld) and do a fresh install. Also make sure you have a clean OS install on your PC and you delete the vendor.xml before installing the OS on the device.

ok.. ive got the old OS so i can try wiping the OS thats on there and reinstall.. but it restarts too frequently to even get a solid connection or enough time to erase and reinstall.. i need like a blackberry safemode or something.. geeze im really lost

ive found a solution to this problem here BlackBerry 101: How to Reload the Operating System on a Nuked BlackBerry | CrackBerry.com But it appears thats for an earlier version of desktop manager.. 4.3 or something.. i have 4.5 and its not showing the apploader folder that its shown in step 1
