Has anyone had trouble with their pearl button. Mine will make the cursor go left and right but not up and down. Any suggestions??

This happens to mine after my youngest plays a few sessions of brick breaker.
Prise out the chrome retaining ring ring, and the ball and hosing will come out easily. Then put it back in.
