    Email settings are set to keep messages but my phone is only storing messages from the last 6 days.

    Can anyone help?

    This is just a recent problem. My curve used to keep messages for 30 days.

    Have you tried a battery pull with the phone on to reset the device and to gain back as much memory as possible?

    After a battery pull, how much free memory do you have? Options > Status

    Have you done a battery pull since the problem started? Did the problem continue after the battery pull?
