    Is there a way to get an alert tone when receiving a message on bb messenger? I checked in options, and see nothing about alert tones.I still have the older version, so idk if that is a new feature in the new one or not. ty for the help.

    Have you tried Profiles> Advanced> Normal> Messenger alert & new message (do it to both) and change ring tone:
