Hi,
Wondering if someone could help me- inherited my husband's 8300 and just recently the keys are staying lit constantly. Have it set to auto off at night and the keys still stay lit.

I have done a hard power down a couple of times, but it doesn't affect it, even changed the settings to make them go off. Not a big deal, but it does eat my battery.

Any suggestions?

A battery pull should have worked. Any chance of moisture damage? If it were mine, I'd try to reload/update the os.

When you said that you did a "hard power down" do you mean that you pulled the battery while the Berry was still on?

Yeah, I thought that was what that was called, pulling the battery with it on.

I don't know about the moisture, I have a 2 year old child, so there's no telling.
