    Does the Curve 8310 not have 3G capabilities in the UK? Noticed my colleagues Bold sitting right next to mine has its 3G indicator lit but I only ever get GPRS :-(

    Nope, not that device on tmobile, EDGE is 2 G.. the BOLD however does have 3g capabilities.. depending on company

    I dont think so, tmobile isnt 3 g here, im not sure if UK is ahead or behind the game or not ..

    According to posts here: T-Mobile UK Network - 3G forum : your 3G community and resource. T-Mo UK does have 3G Hmm another good excuse to get me a Bold OR Javelin maybe? ;-)

    They have both on tmobile over there? Bold isnt out on Tmobile here yet, the javelin is the 8900? if so, thats tmobile.. but bold is on AT&T thus far.. Im not entirely sure.. I changed to Sprint about 3 weeks ago..

    There are only 3 Blackberries which have 3G capabilities: Bold, Storm, 8707v. Others, including the 8310, gets only GPRS/EDGE. It doesn't on your carrier, it depends on your device, and that's a given.

    As above have posted 8320 is EDGE maximum, which gets referred to as 2.75G. Good speed, but not quite 3G
