My curve is showing me that I have (1) unread message on each of my mailboxes. However when I open the boxes there are no new messages.

If I send a new email message it still shows as (1) unread message and the message is in there. When I read the message the number does not reset to 0.

I have also even emailed two messages, It will display (2) unread messages; read both messages and it still shows as (1) unread message. Anyone else run into this ?

This is a pretty common problem. Try a battery pull.

I had this problem a while ago.

I went as far as to delete EVERY single email on my bb, and it still indicated one new message.

turns out that i had somehow saved a message, i don't remember how i did that. once i read the message in my saved messages. the indicator went away.
