I ordered several 8350i's on ebay. My first one came in. The Wifi was working perfectly fine for the first few hours today, but then I keep getting the message

"Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later."

All I wanted to do was use these devices through WiFi and not even attempt to connect them to the Nextel network. I know that network doesn't exist anymore.

I want to use wifi only and it was working fine for the first few hours, but now I get the error message. Is this possible to fix since I might have to acquire the host routing table through the non existent nextel network.

Is there a way to get around it?

Any and all help will be appreciated!

What OS are they running? If I recall correctly, BBOS5 could connect one of the browsers through wifi but everything else was BIS* dependent

    *BlackBerry Internet Service

I am running OS 4. It did work for a a few hours, but then up and quit.

Is there a way to upgrade to OS 5?

I am using a different one with OS 5 and it works for the most part.

My other concern is that if I use too many different hotspots, the same thing will happen on my working 8530i.

    Is this possible?
