The "alt" symbol is locked in the upper right. Pressing the left shift key alternates between "alt" and "123". Can't click on anything in the menu as it takes me to the menu of "move, hide, delete, etc." when pressing the mouse button.

Pulled battery and nothing. Tried loading a new app in hopes to reset it and nothing.

No, when hitting the "alt" button it clicks. I'll try the 5 minute pull.

Other odd thing is, I went and moved the "options" icon to the home screen so I can click on it, but when I get in it and scroll, it scrolls one page at a time, I can't scroll one line at a time.

Put battery back in and as it is booting, the "alt" key is showing in the upper right.

    try this....

pull that battery out again and put it in, this time hold the esc key (the one to the right of the trackball) untill it starts fully back up... you will eneter safe mode, or you should. if it does not then take it to the center

    Casper,

Thanks for the help. When you said the key may be stuck, I noticed with the screen dim pressing the "alt" key did not light it back up while pressing it, but other keys did.

    Ok Tmobile was worthless.

The fix was to go to a repair shop, get keys cleaned and new trackball ($43)

5 minutes travel time was less than one phone call with TM.
