I’m waiting for someone to say Z50 and diehards to like the post 1K times.
The way I see it.... the unflappable but foldable z20/20 in 2020 (the Playbook phone fusion is about due for an upgrade). But hey that Passport sized priv slider would be great too!. But in reality any upgraded BB10 on newer hardware sometime down the road would be the dream.

"Dream Machine"...??? Lol. How about a slider that looks and feels like a 9900 while retracted? Then looks and feels like LE when extended?

Also to include toolbelt (!!!!), swappable battery, charging contacts, convenience keys, ... Did I say FEEL like 9900?? Lol.

    My dream, anyway. Fwiw.

A foldable Leap the size of Playbook to remind you of the Passport is what I’m hearing....

lol, dreams may vary. Torn between a lighter weight foldable playbook (nothing fancy just hinges with a very small gap, screens to the hinge edge would be nice, is fine), with (maybe) a detacheable/snap to the back form fitting extra external battery interface (foldable as well?) for longer usage, and the Passport/full slab current passport dimensions with Slider. BB10 is the must, upgraded android sandbox, nice to have....I guess its the sports/leadership (playbook) vs travel and opening doors (passport)decision.

So far the Key2 has been rocking it in my hands as the "perfect" BB.

Seriously, at this point, anybody that really wants any BB device should accept their dream hardware would be anything created with the BB name on it. Simple and realistic.

    That's not a dream, that's probably a nightmare....the OP said dream.
Updated BB10 baby, that's the dream, 64bit, more privacy....That's the Powerball /Lotto 649/National Lottery/El Gordo etc) dream...though frankly maybe we should just still be playing bingo in the basement hall instead.

BB10 is over for any future hardware possibility. Enjoy the current BB10 hardware as is.....

Just a short Key2, like a small pocketable Curve
Capacitive Keyboard preferred, but at what cost
    A Q10 sidegrade with new Antennas (66, 71)

I think the most interesting concepts to me would be the Priv 2 or a Passport 2. In the case of the Priv, with updated android and hardware that performs on par with the key2, my priv is so slow, and put the key2's keyboard in the slider, with a normal spacebar - make the blackberry logo on the back into a fingerprint sensor. In the case of the passport updated internals, BBAndroid, and just a little bit longer to make the keyboard 4 rows, fingerprint sensor on the spacebar.

I could go for a Classic 2 as well, that little thing is so nice to type on.

For me it would be a blend between the Punkt phones and the Q10/Z10. I don't care if it has a PKB or not, but it would be small, and focused on traditional BlackBerry functions, with a Web browser, basic camera, headphone jack and removable battery.

I don't care if it runs a stripped down version of Android, but I'd prefer BB10.

I know it won't happen, but it's my dream device.

From the screen of my trusty Z10 using the exceptional BlackBerry VKB.

I think this should be as tall as the Note 8 and a little wider than the Note 8 and you've got my dream phone.
I wish Samsung would put into use, the patent they own on a clip on blackberry style keyboard cover for all their all touch devices. Why wont Samsung put this item into our hands? The iphone one also worked for the samsung s series too...ryan Seacrest was a partner in that company. And they got shut down for releasing a BlackBerry patented design or some crap!

Some are lagging the quality of the KEY2's screen but I'm not seeing it. Compared to my Pixel 3, my KEY2 is an 80s Sony while the Pixel 3 is a Sanyo! The pixel is so freaking dark!

Also, the quality of glass seems to be better on my KEY2. My Pixel has a bunch of scratches on it and I barely use it! Meanwhile, my KEY2 is always naked (no screen protector) and is 100% flawless.

The Pixels have been known to have pretty bad max brightness, but I can't say that TCL's LCD's are of better visual quality than LG's P-OLED's
