I've always thought that myself. Would be the perfect sized phablet. 7" diagonal, so you'd probably have around a 6" display on it. Certainly would be a rival for the Galaxy Note and One Max.

Since I got my Z30 about 6 month ago I haven't used my PlayBook once. Still my laptop and computer some. Not nearly as much as I did with my z10. I mainly use spreadsheet, price sheets, pictures of the job or pest, emails, BBM, text and of course there awesome calendar.

I think a few things like split screen, overlap screen, for viewing spreadsheet, or comparing picture of pest on the job, being able to see 2 email at once and of course better app or anyway smoother running android app is all things that would put me at nearly 95%

I did, what's your point? None of them change the fact that you originally thought that LG was trying to steal from BlackBerry until you were corrected. Now that you know that LG did it first, do you think that perhaps it is BlackBerry who is doing the stealing?

No probably , I will go for keypad version of Blackberry Passport. If I have to buy full touch screen then I would go for android or ios , though I don't like android much but this seems better option.

Uhm, how does that passport look anything like the LG. Are you on drugs or something? As to the Z50, well this is still a dream.

8gb of ram on a phone? Are you insane?

Sure, it can be done. Maybe one day it will be common.

    But goddamn!

My new desktop has 8gb of ram. I could have used 16, but why?

    Virtual machines? :-)

I have a spare quadcore Phenom laptop with 6GB.

4GB are for its own operation (Linux), the remaining 2GB are used to power a Windows 7 virtual machine. If I wanted to run a second VM, I'd cannibalize a 4GB stick from another lappy and swap out for a 2GB stick.

Look, I've seen a lot of people on crackberry hoping for 8GB on the next flashship phone. And they don't even know why they would need 8Gigs of RAM. I know what the rumors said, but I seriously doubt Blackberry would shove that much RAM in it.

And yes, a touch version of passport would be nice.
    That spells browser tabs... LOL

Current RAM usage on Passport: 2.49GB
Current RAM usage of browser: 314MB
    Currently open browser tabs: 45

I've also got Firefox (Android) installed, but not open

    :-)

Edit: Passport performance is so much better than the Q10, it always reloaded tabs, dropped them, crashed or the browser simply didn't keep the tabs after a reboot - - - so: MOAR definitely helps...

Yes I wish the passport was full screen a square screen just doesn't work but I think customizable touch keyboards should be the new thing even a passport with a slide keyboard would have been better idk
