So, Passport is about to hit the market, and even if there aren't any official statement from BB about price, it won't be cheaper than 500 $.

If it turns to sell well, BB should definetely do a cheaper version of it, for the "mass" market, so pretty much everyone could afford it.

-Dimensions should be the same, maybe with lower ppi but still 4.5 inch square screen.
-Everything about hardware should be lowered to make it the cheapest possible: dual core, 1 gb RAM and 5 mp camera. BB10 is good even with low specs.
-Maybe it should have a "Lumia" feel, with some colorful plastics instead of that expensive steel.

Make it 250 $ or lower and this device could make BB reborn from that awful 0.5% of the market.

    What d'yall think?

So you mean a passport version of the q5..... I believe that it will be brilliant. Maybe just use the current q10 specs.....

Take a look at some of the Android phones (is it +1?) that have truly flagship specs, better than the best, and sell for sub 300usd. BlackBerry should be able to put modern specs into a budget phone.

    No recycling Q10 guts.
