I saw this concept design from a Chinese smartphone forum.
    ?????????????????-????????
This concept design introduced a single curved OLED screen from front panel to the back panel, along with the physical keyboard. How do you think this idea for the Blackberry phone?

Don't like it either, but what do I know. I hated the Passport too when I first saw it. Now, I think the Passport is the best thing since sliced bread.

Sure - when you just can't decide between two features just add both. Why not? That way you can spend all day flipping your smartphone over to see what's on the other side.

A little like using two phones, but much more convenient?

There was a very similar concept done a few years ago when BB10 first launched. Instead of having the screen wrap over the top of the phone, it went sideways. And instead of an always present physical keyboard, I believe, he had the keyboard sliding out as a landscape keyboard. Or maybe he had multiple concepts, one with a keyboard and one that slid out, don't remember. Just remember everyone loving his designs.

Would look cool inside my pocket.

But it looks like it wouldn't be able to take a fall.

I like having the lock button on top like a blackberry Bold.

The Passport is the same size as sliced bread.

Hardware wise, I think it's probably a bad design with current technologies, interesting, but bad.

Interesting Idea, with some improvement and tweaking, it could be an exciting innovation.

    Neat idea,
If this phone was a reality, I could see myself getting one.

Add the rest of the toolbelt beside the trackpad.
And when a camera gets added, it would have to be on the touchscreen side of the phone.

I'd also need a pretty special case. Have a pocket, so the phone can slide out and you can type away like normal. But have the back side of the pocket open up like a flip case. Then you could see the full touch screen without having to remove the phone.

mmmhhh... it's cute to look at but, I'm not feeling the concept.... seems you'd be flipping the phone over this way then that way... "usability" issues for me when the average person is just looking for the convenience of a smartphone this may not catch on enough to be very lucrative. Keep at it though, really like the curved screen.
