BriniaSona presents the BlackBerry Z70. This device is meant to replace both your full touch Z device and your PlayBook that BlackBerry no longer supports. The BlackBerry Z70 sports a beautiful 2560 x 1440 Super AMOLED Edge to EdgeDisplay with 438PPI. But this isn't the Z70's defining feature. The star feature of the Z70 is the unique E-Belt.

With a quick toggle of the E-Belt Quick Setting, the BlackBerry Logo fades into the darkness and a Tactic Trackpad, EndCall, Call, BlackBerry and Back Button rises from the touch sensitive Bezel to provide the user with Tactile, but touch screen button,s thanks to Tactic Tactile Technology. With the same toggle of the Quick Setting, the Tactic Buttons fades back into the screen and the BlackBerry Logo returns to your Bezel.

Another Feature unique the Z70 is the Touch Secretive Volume Rocker. The Touch Volume Rocker allows the user to slide upwards on the rockeror downwards on the rocker to quickly adjust adjust volume. Traditional long pressing of the up or down switches between songs or media. The Touch Sensitive Rocker also acts as the camera controls for zooming and taking the picture.

Along with these changes, the Z70 now allows for split screen applications as well as up to 9 Active Frames on one screen.

Warning: the following concept is not for those who want something easily manageable with one hand. It is meant to be a radical tablet/phone hybrid meant to replace everyone's playbook. Please don't comment stating it's HUGE.

I present to you the BlackBerry Z70

Thanks. E in bottom bezel idea just came to me halfway through the making of the concept. It was gonna be amoled, but then I though, e ink would last longer.

I would love a BlackBerry this size but I'm kinda hopping the phone was a little wider. But it's kind of hard to tell from the pic. Hell of a job though bro.

Just away from home today. When I get home I'll whip up a good comparison photo. Also, I didn't want to add any bezel to the sides

Oh and it just seems thin, being the size of the PlayBook screen, it's pretty huge width wise.

I'll fox the colour and make it black and white. Also, it's a quick setting and display setting option, the tool belt would be enabled and disabled by the user, it wouldn't really be on the go (for the refresh reason)

I'm not sure if it was CB that I saw this on, but there is a phone coming out with the back side being an Eink display.

I do believe that's an android phone. Now that I think of it a smart watch with rink would be genius. They just have to make it circular and not an ugly square.

Would be great. I think I have seen watches in the works. I actually have a good friend that works there. Pretty cool company.

Wow, it's a better shot of it now sitting with the N3 and PlayBook. It would compliment a Q device perfectly.

It'd probably be around the same thickness as the z30. Which is perfect to me.

Love the idea of the touch sensitive "tool belt". Giving that option to those who want it without going back to physical buttons. Well done.

Next, I will make a render of the back. Any suggestions for the texture of the material? Carbon Fibre? Diamond Steel?

Would the e-ink belt work on a Q20 Classic? This might be the best of both worlds.

Would that solve the track button wearing out? Typing letters and numbers with one finger is a pain. Don't see why the tool belt can't be "e".

This comment is strickly referring to Q20 where the tool belt could be optional. Use the tool belt for emails and messages. Don't use it when surfing or games. I really speaking out my rear as I have no idea what programimg it would take to write the OS to do this. Is it possible?

Don't suppose why it wouldnt, then those who want it can have it and those who don't wont need it.

Can you some how post this on the Q20 as a suggestion. Might be the cat's meow?

Can you imagin a Q20 being a 3.5 screen without the belt? This would also keep the overall size smaller. Your e-belt could save BB from dumping the phone part of the company.

Another thought would be to write new OS for the Q10. That would make current Q10 customers happy. And give extra time to develope a really good Q20. Or just put a high end look to the Q10 call it a Q15 add new OS with the e-belt and save BB a ton of money.
