You'd have to boost that ram and internal storage or all it'll make is a pretty paper weight.

    Very cheaply made phone,

I think they'd do better by using similar specs fromZ3 and putting it into that casing. It would be an easily marketable phone to emerging markets, or even maybe high school kids, again.

But right now BlackBerry is only focusing on getting those professional users back on board, when that happened then maybe they can bring in another cheaper phone for consumers and such. EVEN then, consumers ATM are more attracted to big screens and simplicity, and reliability. BlackBerry just needs to prove to everyone, which I think John is doing superbly well.

Can't be making a device which is marketed to a consumer, as It would not sell, even if it was 200 dollars, yet again things are changing with all the Passport hype!

That would be terrible! How would that phone even work? I'm using a gig of memory right now...

BlackBerry can't put BB10 on the PlayBook with 1Gb RAM. A phone with that is totally impossible. Get a Q5 ya want cheap.

Then get the Classic when it's released. It will have all 3 of your requirements, plus OS 10.3.1

Sadly, I can't buy sub-$150 Q5s here, they are above $200 here in Australia, and yeah, add shipping...

This would absolutely rock (1.5GB RAM won't bust the budget) as a giveaway or present for those flip-phone and T-9 candybar users who haven't arrived in the smartphone age yet...

They'd love the toolbelt with call answer button... :-)
