Who else wants a BB10 tablet but with similar specs to the passport? Here's a little mock-up. What do you guys think?

Can't we use auto loaders and try to make this work on an arm tablet?

If you have a Passport and Blend, I don't see why there's a need for a BB10 tablet. If you need a bigger screen real estate, just use blend on a tablet. Tablets have such low margins...I don't see why BB would get back into it.

They've already said they have no plans to, BlackBerry 10 on tablet yes, BlackBerry tablet no.

16:9 ? too short on landscape too narrow on portrait, good for watching movies but bad for everything else. The keyboard takes half the screen when on landscape and looks awkward to read full webpages in portrait.
3:2 (like surface pro 3) or 4:3 (iPad), bad for watching HD movies but great for everything else.

BlackBerry have to dive in tablet market which is occupied with well known companies. It's good to get hands on a BlackBerry os 10 tab.

I think BB10 should have come to the PlayBook but I'm personally not sure if there is much point to tablets anymore beyond the larger screen for games and movies. With the Z30 and Passport I don't think there is even much need except for multiplayer games like Monopoly where a ~10 inch screen is a lot better. Maybe it's me but with my Z30 I don't even think about needing a tablet and can do pretty much everything I can on my PC also even if at times it's not quite as convenient.

Blend to me says that that they're really really not interested in producing a tablet for the foreseeable future. One thing that kept me on my Playbook was the Bridge functionality. If I can now access BBM, texts and so forth via Blend on a different tablet, then I'm suddenly interested in a tablet again, and I'd been very reluctant to upgrade to something new because of losing something that mattered to me.

Or to put it another way, before I really really wanted a BB10 tablet, now it doesn't matter as much.

I agree with everything this guy's says. I checked out a surface 3 yesterday just because of this. Every tablet could now be a BlackBerry tablet. A surface with the keyboard cover and blend would be amazing.

Of course I'd still be interested in seeing a BlackBerry tablet but it would be a tough sell if it wasn't super cheap.

I think they are hoping some will see the passport as a tablet, too small for me for that. For me the purpose of having a tablet is having the larger screen yet I'm very mobile with it unlike a laptop so blend would work for me as long as it works on my current tablet.

I wouldn't mind another blackberry tablet as long as it was truly different than the rest. But as some have said it isn't really necessary at this point in time if Blend can be installed pretty much anywhere. I still use my playbook and will continue to do so until it dies completely...whenever that is.
