Appearance: looks like any high quality analog watch with a metal or leather bracelet, watch available in silver or gold colors.

Watch face hides an OLED or e-ink display; the hour, minute, and second hands jump to pointing at 3 o'clock when display is active to not block the text.

Features will be limited compared to smart watches that are whole phones, as you can pull your phone out of you pocket for anything longer than a glance. Plus it should allow for relatively amazing battery life.

    At minimum, features include:

Silent vibration, so that you can be alerted of notifications on your phone even if your phone is set to no notifications.

Synchronizing of alarms and calendar alerts with your phone, so you can get your alarms even if your phone is off.

Hub alerts, so you can see the number of each kind of notification and view the lock screen preview.

Maybe a heart rate monitor? Or that could just be part of a fitness-oriented version.

Based on this I'm guessing a $100-150 price and minimum one-week battery life.

    Thoughts?

Modern smart watches should have an actual analog component(never have the watch part die) and a screen that switches modes in between. Transparent to opaque for the smart portion.
