    Honestly, that screen resolution is ridiculous and overkill. I know other phones have that, but it's a total gimmick. Your eyes cannot tell between a 1080p screen and a 1440p screen at that size, yet you're going to have the battery hit, price hit, and GPU performance hit for it. If they had two identical phones in everything but the screen, one was 1080p and the other 1440p, I'll take the 1080p any day and enjoy the better battery life, cheaper cost, and less work on the GPU while NEVER noticing any downside to it...

    Theoretical you are right. But people don't care whether something is physical nonsense ;-) Still i don't see me playing my 4k Video on a 1080p smartphone. Why should my cam be able to capture 4k when my is display is 1080p
