I plan on buying a couple more Classics to hide away in my closet as backups if mine ever dies!

Maybe I will complete my collection with all available colors, as others have done.

Best Phone for how I use it!

I would be tempted to go with blackberry Passport SE but really the Black Classic does everything I really need it to very well and I do appreciate the one handed size and use. I have only one phone the Classic unlocked from Amazon for over a year now. I don't keep a backup because if it broke would drive to Tmobile and buy a new one

got two Classics in use already, just best device for one handed use and easy to carry around.
Got a PP too but that's sitting on the desk most of the time.

My Classic is my preferred day to day business phone. Form factor, one handed use, EXCELLENT physical keyboard and great HD calls. Like my Passport for WiFi use and reading news, forums, etc. It does not need it but if the Classic had the spec of the Passport they would likely have sold millions more. That being said it does not take away my joy and appreciation of the Classic for how it meets my needs.

Excellent choice. Honestly and truly and original mobile device. Nothing like it. The track pad and tool belt are so functional. Sigh. If only it had been properly marketed. Imagine if one will the marketing agency for Apple pitching BlackBerry on a campaign a year ago and what could have been. Long presses, keyboard shortcuts, track pad swiping, etc, etc.

Im still not sur between white Passport or blue Classic...
I heard that performance with the Classic is not that good and a big laggy.
For multitasking and email its a beast but the amazon app seems to need more cpu or ram.

On the other hand, form factor of the passport is so big.
Not fit in any pockets jean...and absolutely need to use 2 hands.
The screen is beautiful and the battery life amazing....

I still looking here to make my decision.
Miss so much Blackberry. I have a Galaxy s6 right now.
The Amazon app, like all android apps, will run "laggy" because Android is being emulated. If it was a native app it would not lag at all. I'm sure having a faster CPU would help, but it's mainly the fact that it's emulated that makes it laggy.

I just did and I'm using it right now!

I had to retire my faithful Sprint Q10, after the few years I had it for, it was starting to show its wear and tear.

Of course, anyone who's had to deal with Sprint, knows that they no longer carry BlackBerry nor are willing to support it either, "ever since the company went bankrupt" or so said two in-store managers and one online representative.

So, I decided to walk into a Verizon store and on display with the Z30 (albeit a small display...) is the Classic!

Just did to replace the Fairest of All Fair Maidens Torch.

Couldn't find a decent price on blue so know we'll have 2 black Classics in the house. Nothing but BBs since forever it seems.

in a word-- yes-- I've had the Z10 since it first came out-- bought an Outter box for it; I've dropped it many times over 5 years, the phone never damaged, screen never cracked-- recently began having problems charging it, decided it was time to get a new phone. Looked at the PRIV, & Classic, purchased the Classic. I've been a Blackberry person for years, decided to stay.

I know that was really odd and reassuring to see, although that might of been primarily because that store just opened with a month.

So, maybe they decided to showcase everything that store had in stock?
