This is going to be off topic, but how is Face10? I see it in the Beta Zone all the time, but never download. I use the native app for notifications and use the mobile site with a shortcut on my home screen.

It looks promising but is lacking many features for now, meaning that it's hard to actually help by reporting bugs

That sucks. I was hoping that we could get and app to finally get rid of the native app with all of its broken features. It's not a good look for BlackBerry when a lot of posts come up as "this post couldn't be loaded"

I just bought mine about 4 days ago -- I love it. I do use my iPad for any apps I may need so the classic is used for communication and calendar almost exclusively. With only two apps added (from BlackBerry app world) this thing feels pretty quick. I wouldn't let the time it's been out discourage you from picking one up

In fact I am thinking about buying another as a back up.

Heck, I'm looking for a Classic. Had the 8310 Curve which I really liked but then fell onto the iPhone bandwagon with the 3G through the various generations to now the 6 Plus.

But I never fell in love with the iPhone and the soft key keyboard and my longing for the Curve/clicky keyboard has always remained.

What's a safe place to get a new/like-new Classic these days?

I don't feel like paying ATT retail lol.

I didn't find too much difference between Q10 and Classic, and its screen is way too small after I switched to Passport and later on to SE.

I use Passport SE as my daily driver and barely touch Q10. No doubt Passport has much longer battery life and larger screen to get my daily work done easily.

I actually picked up a black Classic and a white Passport today. I was missing BB10 too much. Seeing as there seems to be no plans for any BB10 devices this year, I figured I'd stock up a little lol!

i'll pick up the priv but at the moment it's quite expensive. I'll probably wait till late 2016 when it becomes cheaper.

I exchanged my passport for the classic. At first, I thought I made a bad decision. But after a month of using the classic, boy did I pick the right phone. I'm soo pleased with the classic.

I debated between the SE passport and the blue classic for the longest time. They are the two best looking phone on the market to me. I ended up with the classic and couldn't be more happy. I'm sure I would have eventually adapted to the passport's size -- but the classics ergonomics are pretty much perfect for me.

I do wish it had the glass weave back though.

I have had 4 older BBs, 3 android phones, and now this Classic. Obviously, I switched to the Classic as I missed the functionality of my older BB devices when it came to messaging. The classic is very nice to use for messaging. For all other uses I prefer my android phones - they are just much more intuitive, and run apps much better. Also, this Classic I own has a lot of wifi connectivity issues. I am currently corresponding with BB tech support to try to sort this out. If they can correct the problem I am having, then the Classic is a keeper for me. If not, then likely I will switch back to android and wish Blackberry luck, which would be a shame - I really want to like this phone!

I've never used a Q10 so I can't compare. I loved my Passport, but for everyday use and what I actually needed it for. I think the Classic with the toolbelt fits my needs a lot better. I can see why a lot of people would prefer the Passport.

The screen definitely is taking me a while to get used to it.

I really like the Classic for its one-handed use and just it being far more comfortable to use. When I used to use a Passport regularly, I found that I was actually wasting more time on it than being productive. The Passport's large screen and powerful specs almost encourage media consumption; whereas the Classic's modest form factor and specs almost encourage one to just use it for more practical purposes.

Classic for in and out as one handed device and the PP vor everything else.
There are seven BB OS10 devices in active use around my family (two Classics already) and another fore OS10 devices will be perched this year (2x PP and 2x Classic)

I just sold my SE and using the classic as my daily driver. No regrets, the passport became uncomfortable and bothersome to use daily. A classic with a sensitive keyboard would hav been a killer device.

I'm wondering if this is going to end up being me: I also have a Classic but also have a BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition due to arrive today. I actually really do enjoy the Classic but have just been curious. I can't really see myself using anything larger than this device, and the Classic already meets my current usage needs.

I use a Classic as my daily and have a Q10 as a backup phone and I would get another Classic as a back as well, but my concern is the shelf life. Meaning it does not have a removable battery like the Q and it will eventually deteriorate. If I knew there would be a way to change out an old battery for a new one down the road I would get a 2nd Classic.

As it stands today, it will only be a matter of time (maybe up to 2 years) before I have to go back to the Q. Not a bad 2nd choice.

Until last Fall I was sure that I would buy BlackBerry Classic. But when I found out about BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition I made my decision. I really love Classic design, but because now I am hooked to the incredible capacitive keyboard of BlackBerry Passport, I would miss it on the Classic... However, I still contemplate about getting Classic from time to time. And now I am gradually falling in love with BlackBerry Priv mostly due to its capacitive keyboard...
