I would be more than willing to pay that much for a Classic with specifications similar to the Passport (not that I have any qualms about the current Classic).

Now people understand why I was on the soap box about the processor.

It's nice but could be the best!

2 years from now the problem will be amplified because of OS up grades will require faster processors.

Marketing wise the cheaper phone helped other people move back to BlackBerry. I don't think there as many people that was not on BlackBerry that is moving to the Classic.

The Classic is BlackBerry enter level Qwerty phone. Let's see what happens in December.

Sure. Remove the toolbelt, add a 4" HD screen and capacitive keyboard and away we go.
    We have some fine Idea!!!

It is just too small for me. Hence the reason I have a Passport!

YES! I would certainly pay a premium for a premium device. Stuff Passport internals into a 9900 chassis and i've got a $1000 ready and willing. In fact, my company would be first in line to purchase 27 of them. FWIW.

Next best? Passport specs in a Classic would be the Classic that should have been, IMO.

I wish I knew how to change out the processor. A one of a kind 99 or Classic on BB10.3
