    Hi fellows,

Would you guys pay premium price $599 for classic if it was equipped with snapdragon 801 with at least 32gb storage, better camera.
From what I am understanding, high end smart processor consumes less battery life than older generation processor. Some will say classic is not for entertainment and it's for text/communication tools, but I wish it had better specs!

Would you pay premium price for high end spec'ed classic in the future if they release it?

Sure, why not? I paid $749 for that iPhone crap. I paid $870 for the Samsung Note Edge that I ended up selling on eBay for $1100. If the Classic has the quad processor, 3Gb ram, 64Gb storage, I'd pay $599 without reservation.

Sure. Remove the toolbelt, add a 4" HD screen and capacitive keyboard and away we go.

Absolutely. The processors in the Classic are the reason why it's a 'wow this is nice' phone and not a 'Holy crap this is beast-mode fast' phone. The problem is that the Bold/Curve/Classic form factor is so efficient that it can end up outpacing its processors if they aren't very current.

Though I love my Classic, I do envy the specs of the passport.

Absolutely! I'd tell blackberry to shut up and take my money! I like the classic, but every now and then it stutters and if it had a beast mode processor it would fix the only issue it really has.

Hell yeah!! Make it weigh less and a lil bit more screen size just to make the phone a 4:3 ratio. That would solve watching video on a 1:1 ratio.

Would depend on build quality. Build it as well as a Q with screws, not glue. Glass weave is desirable, looks great too.

I want charge contacts back so we can have a desk dock again.

    I want a removable battery.

I want that android crap store deletable.

The specs are not as important to me, as long as it runs quick and smooth.

Up QC by a factor of 1000, let the Mexicans build it again, Foxconn gets a fail grade.

Sure of course I would, it wouldn't really need to have a 1440x1440 screen but a 1080p 1:1 display would be kind of nice too. I actually kind of wish there would be such a device...... it's not that I have real complains regarding the Classic, but some more screen content would be nice to have.

I also have to say build quality should be definitely better too for such a price, my Classic already creaks and squeaks as if would've seen two years of use already. Very disappointing for a phone which is "build to last".

Maybe not as big specs as the passpprt but at least more than the usual 1.5 ghz or 1.7 dual.. we need at least 2.3 ghz dual core with a 2gb of ram. It doesnt need to be equally to passport but just enough to make the phone have less lagg that it currently have. Specs are not important to me either but we need it in the meantime until they optimize the os more in which bb10 will operate as or more smooth as iOS.. just saying

I use the AT&T version with wireless charging. How much do I miss charging contacts? Not at all...

Good for you. AT&T does not exist in my country.

Wireless charging in every unit would be fine, and make having a desk dock possible.

That's exactly what I mean, don't request old out-dated tech, if you want a convenient way to charge your phone without plugging it in, don't be a caveman, go wireless and charging contact...less... lol

I was interested in the Passport and thought of switching carriers for it, but for me the phone was awkward and cumbersome. Then came the Classic. Really liked the feel, and thought if it had the Passport's horsepower, it would be perfect. Problem is...the Z30 is a kick-*** phone and going back to a keyboard doesnt feel right anymore. I loved my BlackBerry Bold and thought going to the Classic would be awesome, but it's tough going to the smaller screen, especially when the Z30 performs so well with it's virtual keyboard. I'm not knocking the Classic or the PassPort, and I think the Classic having the Passport's specifications would be a good seller. I'm just not ready to give up the Z30.

I love my classic! I paid $515 CAD, totally worth it IMO. Before this phone, I had the z10, iPhone 5s, and Samsung G Alpha. The best phones out of those, IMO (first being the best, and so on): z10, Classic, iPhone 5s. The Alpha doesn't deserve to be up there. But I think every BB user should purchase an iPad mini/Normal one. I enjoy using my phone to get things done! Then pulling out an iPad for entertainment!
