    Now that the AT&T Classic is almost out, I am considering returning the one I got from Amazon and getting their version for the wireless charging. However, I would rather not have to deal with whatever bloatware or splash screens AT&T will probably put on it. Does anyone know if a simple backplate swap would give my Classic the same capability?

    The backplate for that phone probably won't fit your other phone.

    You'd think it'd be more complicated than that... the only thing you'd be getting rid of is carrier branding. Bloatware and splash screens are pushed to your device with the SIM card.

    I'm wondering when the replacement parts come available on Amazon there might be a ATT case/frame that I could just change out.
