I just got my Classic from Shop BlackBerry and found the manufacture date to be from February 2015. I was really hoping for a more recently made unit, as I read of someone else recently ordering and getting a model made in October. Should I return it and try to hope I can get a newer one? Is it worth the exchange?

Was it sealed when you got it? Any issues with it? If not I would just keep it.

Yes it was sealed, brand new. Seems to work fine. Somehow there's this idea in my head that a newer made one is better somehow. Maybe, but probably not.

I think the October builds are for the blue device. I recently bought another Classic in Nov from shopbb and it was built in March.

A new build date doesn't logically mean the process in development is better because it is compiled in a more recent date. If anything, well you get it lol.

Now if they did a recall because of issues then yes they would pull all builds before etc. But doesn't your job performance start high and end low at the end of your shift?/ the same on Tuesdays and Thursdays?/in January or November
