Yes. The buttons are a great feature. We will trade in all 115 BBs for Q20s here to stop all the complaining.

I would have four years ago, now more than happy with Note 3.

In few years when there is smaller bezel and 4k I will pickup slim 5.7 inch phone.
So, 4 years from now you should be carrying a HDTV with phone capabilities. ;-)

I might be the odd one here but I have no desire for buttons.

The BB10 gesture based OS has been awesome and personally, I think bring back the physical tool bar is a step backwards in the appearance/design of BB10 devices.

You have every right to prefer all-touch devices without buttons, but to say adding a feature to a phone is a "step backward" is pretty ignorant. I mean, isn't the "future" wireless charging? So does that mean having the usb port there for charging a "step backward"? It's not like they are removing any modern features. The touchscreen is still there, the OS is still there, they are merely ADDING features to the phone, even if they are features seen before, that's not a "step backward" in the least. If anything, it's a step sideways to offer people another option to choose from.

I am probably one of the few people with this opinion, but I will consider purchasing the Q20 only if it is the same size or smaller than the Q10.

Well, looks like you won't be buying one then. The screen has been confirmed to be bigger...

Bigger size would be better. Just don't make it the stretched out size of an iPhone 5(S). Make a Q10 the size of a Z30. That would be something!

I'm on a Q10 right now, but will probably get a Q20 once it comes out!

I love my Q10 but really thinking about getting a X until the Q20 becomes available.

Maybe they can increase the screen size, reduce the size of the bezel, and keep the overall device size the same while somehow still managing to fit in the classic buttons and trackpad... I know the chances of this are nearly zero. What I'd really like to see eventually, sometime after the Q20, is an updated device the size of the Bold 9700/9780/9790.

Simple math will tell you that a 3.5" screen would be about 7mm wider and taller. There isn't 7mm worth of bezel on the Q10, so unless the screen floats in the space next to the phone, there's no way they can fit a 3.5" screen on a device with the same exterior dimensions. Not trying to be a jerk, it's just a fact, sorry dude...

Edit: Well, actually, if 3.1" is just the "active" or viewable part of the screen on the current Q10, then there is more than 7mm between that and the edge of the device, so it might be possible... Might not be possible to make it the same height, but the same width, maybe...

So something like this? This will be very close to the same width as a Q10 and just slightly taller. Personally I'd be pretty pleased with a device like this as long as the internal hardware specs are good...

Right, on a square screen, a size increase of 0.4 inches diagonally means a 7.18mm increase in both height and width. I can see it will be very difficult to accomodate the larger screen on a device the same size as the Q10, especially considering the added "toolbelt".

Oh well, if the Q20 is not huge then I will still consider it.

I took a second look at my Q10 after replying to you and noticed that there is quite a bit of "dead space" next to the visible screen, so it actually might be possible if they do it edge to edge...

Edit: Don't know why that image doesn't show in my last post while viewing in the app.
