i will buy it, i have bought most of them but i think i would prefer a taller screen ratio than the "belt" i was worried i could not live without it before using the Q10 for a while. It's really not necessary. It would be better to have BBRY strip away the multiple "taps" required for certain functions in the OS rather than change the hardware. if it keeps users or brings new users i understand the value but really after using OS10 for a few days anyone should be able to cross over.
Agreed. I'm still confused as to how BlackBerry will implement the old "belt" with bb10. It defeats the purpose of BlackBerry 10. Still interested to see what they come up with though
I am so fascinated by the hate for the buttons. I hated the old BBOS but loved the device. The Q10 is a great phone but will have more functionality and options with a few dedicated buttons. As a person who also uses an iphone, I love the idea of a button to start and end a call rather than everything being about the glass. And I say this despite my belief that BlackBerry got it right with all of its BlackBerry 10 devices.
Yes. My 9900 was my favorite blackberry. Even though I have a Q10 I do miss the buttons that the Q20 will bring back including the trackpad. If my company did not get rid of BES I would still be on my 9900.
Bold 9650 was my favorite BlackBerry. Now using a Z10. Since it has been reported that
there will be variations of Q20 with and without trackpad and/or tool belt, I'll wait and see
what becomes available, but very likely to buy one. Waiting with bated breath.
So undecided! But my contract won't be up until October of 2015, so unless something goes catastrophically wrong with my Q10, I will wait and see allll the BBs available then.

There will not be such variations of Q20. Q20 will have the physical trackpad and tool belt. If you want a phone without the physical trackpad and tool belt that has a physical keyboard, there is the Q10 or the next variant in line, possibly named the Q30.
I've learned to 'never say never'. I've been really happy with my Z for almost a year now. There are times when I miss the physical keyboard and there are other times I don't. I definitely haven't missed the send/end/scroll pad that I had on my Torch(es). But, who knows what will happen when/if I get one in my hands?!
Thanks, but not what I've been reading. So possibly someone mixed up details between
Q20 and Q30. Still far enough away from market to continue to look and dream.
By the way, why do so many people here argue about gestures? Did anyone say that you can't use gestures on the Q20? I'm sure you'll be able to swipe around on the display as much as you like - it is still BB10 so it is still all about gestures - just with the addition of the navigation tools to easily navigate from a central point.
Don't be too narrow minded about it. I think it will add a lot to the BlackBerry experience.
Depends. Took some time getting use to the Q10 which is my work issued phone. I'll be due an upgrade about when the Q20 comes out. So it will depend on in if the phone is vetted at work yet and what else is available or soon to be released.
