    Hello all,

Q20 is dated to come out later this year. I own a Q10.
Idea of having the belt back, definitely didn't impress me. But I have been thinking over what would it add to my Q10 capability.
    And it surely does,
    1. It helps me reject a call without looking at my phone, in fact I can when I'm sleeping with ease.
    2. I can select text with help of trackpad which is a great help.
    3. The button Bearing BlackBerry will give me more shortcuts when I'm in any app.

These are just 3 of number of goods the Q20 will bring.
I will definitely get a Q20 sometime if not this year. Will you? If not, why wouldn't you!

I like the bigger screen and I like back button faster then taking hands off keyboard to swipeeee.

Plus pad makes it ez to edit text so it's gonna be a great phone but I'll wait for the Q30 I think...

The back button will probably be programed to always swipe to the right. It will also save screen cuz the back bar on some apps will be gone.

I know we can get rid of it on some apps but with q20 all aps won't have that bar.

Bbm has the dam bar for q10 and it cannot be removed!!! Grrr

I held out on the Z10 as I totally love the keypad, and now I'm just totally loving my Q10.

This too looks like my next phone, as (like the OP made a point) the trackpad makes editing a breeze.

Sooooo loking forward to more info.

I really will buy it in a heart beat!!! I don't care!

I just wanna have an unboxing experience in 2014!!! I will take the box, close the door with the key 2 times, disconnect my phone, put some Frank Sinatra Music and unbox my Q20 with passion!!!

I am excited about the quick start guide, new design, etc!!!

    Yes I will!

It would all depend on the price, I just bought my Q10 in may 2013 and i don't plan on upgrading my contract (or ever getting a contract again for that matter).
I know bringing back the call, back, etc buttons will be amazing. So if the price is right then i will buy it!

I will buy it at the release. The Q10 is a very good phone but the combination of the classic Bold efficiency and a mature BB10 could be awesome. This added to a slightly bigger screen and maybe even some docking contacts (did BlackBerry listen?) is my perfect idea of a mature BB10 phone.

And even traditionalists and die hard 9900 fans will love it.

Add to it a performing battery and this is your new workhorse.

At first I was like nah but the more I think about it the more I want it. But I got my Q10 in 2013. Maybe I'll hold off till Q30 gets here! But it will be hard as I love BlackBerry Flagship and it's nice that the BlackBerry Bold is back!

    I will say...
The BlackBerry Bold finally getting BB10 OS is an interesting phone!

I've been doing fine with my Z10 after moving on from the 9900, and I was about to plan to get an iPhone or an Android phone with my next purchase due to me not really enjoying the BlackBerry experience with the Z10. Sure, I love swiping up to type, but I really was starting to grow tired of doing all of that.

With the announcement of the Q20, I am really really psyched that this my Dream BlackBerry 10 device is coming, so much so that I abandoned all ideas of getting the iPhone or Android device to get the Q20 or what ever flagship device that has that button bar. Nostalgia factor kicking in, but BlackBerry is keeping a customer in me with this announcement.

Also, editing and scrolling is going to be so much better with the track pad back in!

I would! I have a Q10 that I love, but these extras will just add more functionality to an already awesome phone!

    Thank you all for responding.
From the responses I see there is a general consensus that trackpad coming back is a positive addition.

No chance. If I go back with a physical keyboard it will be with the Q10 or Q30. I don't like the track pad or added buttons.

I'll be getting 3, literally. Being able hit call button in an email, txt or bbm window I miss. Being able to easily select txt is a major plus with the touchpad but even more of a benefit, to be able to hang up a call even when screen locked out... priceless. I'll upgrade from q10, my gf will update her 9790 which she has held on because of the annoying ommision of the belt in the q10 and 1 for my mother.

My mom is gonna kill me I JUST got her to switch from a 9790 to a Q10, less than a week ago, and she really misses the trackpad. By the time she gets used to swipe up, swipe up, swipe up, the track pad might be back!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees the benefits of physical buttons for pickup/hangup. As far as buying one, it depends on the tech specs.

I don't see myself passing on the Q20 unless there is a clear vision for the Q30 that would be worth the wait....or if i'm broke. Definitely want this and love the idea of the track-pad, etc. The impressions we saw on CrackBerry of a keyboard phone bigger than the Q10 without this toolbelt looked a bit odd like the iphone with the typo. The Q20; this is a BlackBerry.
