They only will in shops where you can win a boxing match with the manager.

Yep, I spoke to Vodafone Business, and after not knowing anything about it and saying that it would be Feb next year at the earliest, he rang me back a few hours later saying he had spoken to his boss and they will be stocking it and they may even have some in before Xmas. Here's hoping, I am going to ring again on Wednesday after the announcement.
The Classic is going to be no more than 350 to buy sim free. It would probably be more expensive to buy on a 24 month contract than out right. I'm still locked into a 24 month contract for my Z10 until February, and I haven't used it for months as I am now a Keyboard loving Q10 owner. I'm not making that mistake again.

I'm going to go out on a whim and say YES!

Definitely
That's good news. We might actually see Passport's and Classic's in the UK shop's and hopefully in the hands of the public. To this day I still haven't seen a Passport in a shop, and have found UK shop staff to be completely ignorant to Blackberry's new products. Bring it on Vodafone.
I asked exactly the same question a few months back. The response of the woman rep concerned, due to her inability to gather correct information, provided the answer of 'No, it will not be stocked by Vodafone UK'. After I then asked her to confirm this with her line manager due to my threat of leaving and taking business elsewhere to a provider that did stock it, she returned with the answer; 'Yes, it will be stocked'.
So, do not rely entirely on answers given by these people - they are merely reps with limited knowledge - most of whom have little to no proactive stance on gaining that information in order to best serve their customers.
It WILL be stocked for sure and I envisage this will occur end Dec - mid-Jan.
Further - as they already stock the Passport - it's a dead cert.

It could be worse. Last time I looked O2 don't stock any blackberry devices. Very poor!

Try the Vodafone shop at Fulham Broadway tube station.

I shouldn't have to travel from Cheshire to Fulham to see a current Blackberry when I can find current Iphones in any local phone shop
