[CrackBerry Question]

On my Blackberry Classic, sometimes when I type the letter v, instead of a v appearing, whatever I last cut and pasted (even if it was days ago) appears and I can't figure out how to void the paste action. Seems kind of like using Control V in WORD (whatever is held in the background from a previous copy command is dumped into your text). This doesn't always happen with the letter v, just sometimes.

since control v is the paste command, are you holding down any other letters or keys at the same time that you notice this?

With the Classic you can copy and paste by pressing and holding SHIFT (aka the Upper Case Key) while using the trackpad to scroll a highlight of the text you seek to select and copy...

CivilDissident is correct. Once the text is highlighted, you should push the BlackBerry button  to open the menu, then push C to copy.

Once your cursor is in the place you wish to paste, push the  symbol once again, and then push V to paste.
