Hold the power button down for 15-20 seconds until you see the red LED blink, then release the power button. See if that helps.
i tried this but it did not work.
When you plug your Classic to your PC do you see your device in the Blackberry Link program? If so, do a factory reset. If it does not show up in Blackberry Link you may have to try an autoloader : http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-le...016.1446389568 . Read that guide and download the correct autoloader for your Classic from Thurask's archive, then install to your device using your PC.
I also did that but the phone reset but fail to turn on. sometimes the phone is on but the screen is still black.
The only other thing I can suggest is the following: First make sure your device is charged. With the correct autoloader (.exe) file on your PC desktop, plug your Classic into your PC with usb. Hold down the power button of the Classic for about 15-20 seconds and let go while clicking on the autoloader .exe file on your PC. Sometimes it is a timing issue and the "bootloader" of the phone just doesn't catch. Try this a few times altering slightly your power button release and clicking the autoloader file. Sorry to say, if that does not work, I have run out of ideas and you may have a non-recoverable device. Good luck!
